Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ about affiliate programs and CPA Network

  • What is an affiliate program ?

An affiliate program is a website or company that allows Affiliates to promote their products and services online or offline through social medias or websites and pays their affiliates for the traffic sent to their business. Payments vary from one program or network to the other but the one thing they have in common is that affiliates never see who buys or who rebuys, all they see is the stats and how much money they will be paid. Some affiliate programs also offer referral payments where you get paid a commission, sometimes for life, for every sales generated by your referrals. Check CrakRevenue where they offer more than 700 plus programs through their network.

  • How much money can I make with my affiliate programs?

The money you make depends on the efforts you put in, the programs you join and the strategies you use for marketing. Some affiliates make thousands a day and some make a few hundred dollars a year. It really depends on you and the advise you follow. Building a website is not quite enough to think you’re going to make money. It was true in the 1990’s when very few affiliate existed. It was the case for me when I started doing affiliate marketing as I was among only a few to do it, it was easy to reach top 10 in Google or Yahoo. Absolutely not, the good thing about affiliates is that we do not touch merchandise, we do not know who bought the product or services, we do not deal with customers complaints, in fact, we never know who they are and they don’t have any way of knowing who you are unless you post it on your site.

  • What are referral programs ?

Referral programs are actually a key element in affiliate marketing where you can make passive income. They allow you to make extra money by recruiting other talented affiliates who will promote the products for you and earn you extra cash. Referral programs commissions vary from one another, but basically they range from 5% to 10%, some even 15%, commissions on every sales that your referrals will produce, for life or at least their life, as long as they remain active and make sales withing the same affiliate programs you’re in, here are a few examples: Crakrevenue, SellHealth, Vicetemple, Hostgator, Sitesell, TMD Hosting

  • What is a CPA Network ?

CPA network involves 8 steps and carried out by 3 individual parties. These are the publisher (you), the business and the consumer, the functions of the publisher is to connect the consumer (audience) to a brand. The brand partners with the publishers and gains promotion and revenue from new consumers. And then of course, most importantly the consumer finds their way over to the brands site and makes a purchase. By doing so and through an outlet provided by the network, it allows for profits to be paid out to the publisher. Crakrevenue is a good example of this and Adsterra is one the largest CPA network for publishers.
